| Where are you located? | The HCAT studio and office are located within the Holliston High School building at 370 Hollis St. We have our own entrance located around the corner to the right of the school's main entrance. Look for our sign next to the sidewalk. |
| Where do the programs on the access channels come from? | Volunteers who have been trained to use the equipment shoot, edit and prepare the video for airing. HCAT does not have a production crew available to cover town events. The board's policy is to air only programs sponsored by Holliston residents. Requirements for submitting programs can be found in our policy manual. Sponsors must sign a Video Broadcast Request Form taking responsibility for the content of the video |
| What if I have an idea for a new show? | The best way to get your idea on the air is to take advantage of the free training to learn to use the production equipment and produce the program yourself. However, it is possible to produce a new show with existing trained volunteers if they are available. |
| What if I am having trouble with my reception or billing? |

| Why aren't more local events aired on the Holliston channels? | All of the programming you see is provided by volunteers. The programming is limited by the availability and interests of our volunteers. If there is something you would like to see covered on HCAT, find other interested people and form a production crew. It's fun and rewarding. |
| Why don't we have more channels available? | Holliston Cable Access provides the video content for Comcast channels 8, 10, and 11 and Verizon channels 32, 33, and 34. All other channels are controlled by the cable vendor. If you would like to see additional programming on the channel line up, please contact your provider. |
| Why dosen't HCAT tape school plays and local theator for replay? | Copyright laws restrict what we are allowed to tape and rebroadcast. |
| There are two many bulletin board pages and they don't remain on the screen long enough for me to recored the information I need. | The HCAT bulletin board pages are available on our web site. Click on the bulletin board menu button and then on the link to the bulletin board channel you are interested in. A page of thumbnail images will appear with a brief description. Find the page you are interested in and click on it for a full page view. The online version of the bulletin board will be updated once per week. |
